Overview

The all new 2010 Volkswagen Routan, a seven-passenger minivan, combines European sensibilities in design, fit and finish, and handling characteristics with market relevant features and outstanding value. Special features on the Routan include a conversation mirror (an overhead convex mirror) to give the driver a full view of the rear passengers, and touch-screen navigation with a 20MB hard drive. The rear-seat entertainment system boasts dual 9-inch screens, wireless headsets, and a remote control. There are 13 cupholders.

Powertrain And Performance

The Routan comes standard with a 3.8L V6, offering 197 hp and 230 lb. ft. of torque when combined with the standard six-speed automatic transmission. A 4.0L V6 is also available rated at 251 hp and 259 lb. ft. of torque. The engine features European tuned suspension and steering optimized for handling and improved driving dynamics.
